Origin Story

Chef's Rub was born out of the passion for cooking and experimenting with new flavors by Kameron Elliott who loved experimenting with different cooking techniques and developing his own unique blends of seasonings.

One day, while experimenting with different combinations of herbs and spices, he stumbled upon a formula that combined the smokiness of paprika with the earthy tones of garlic and onion, complemented by a subtle note of celery salt and the aromatics of oregano and thyme. He used this blend to season a variety of dishes, from grilled meats and roasted vegetables to soups and stews, and was delighted with the delicious results.

Kameron quickly realized that he had stumbled upon a seasoning blend that was special, and decided to share it with the world. He spent hours perfecting the recipe, sourcing high quality ingredients, and testing the seasoning on a variety of dishes to ensure its versatility and appeal.

KAMTHEHOMECOOK

Kameron Elliott discovered his passion for cooking at a young age. In May 2020, during the height of the Covid Quarantine, he became interested in veganism and made the sudden decision to adopt a vegan lifestyle at the age of 15. Though it was a challenging process, he learned to enjoy healthy meals and expand his palate. To document his culinary creations, he began making videos and sharing them on social media under the name Kamplanteats. After a year of experimenting with veganism, Kameron realized he was feeling limited and decided to abandon it in favor of a more diverse diet. He then changed his online name to "Kamthehomecook" to reflect his new approach to cooking.
